Once upon a time there lived a monkey on the bank of a river. Right in the middle of the river there was a small island with many fruit trees. Sweet and juicy fruits grew on the trees. At a distance from the bank, there was a huge rock in the river. A part of it was above water. One day, attracted by the delicious fruits, the monkey jumped to reach the rock and from there leapt onto the island. “Not so difficult, after all,” he said to himself. Soon he was enjoying the sweet fruits from the tree. There were hardly any other animals there, so he was in no danger. Hence, the monkey decided to visit the island everyday.

Rina had a small garden behind her house. She loved to spend time there every evening. In her garden, she grew roses, sunflowers, and marigolds. Every day, she watered the plants and removed the weeds carefully.
One day, she noticed a small bird sitting on a sunflower. The bird looked tired. Rina brought some water and grains for the bird. After eating, the bird became active and flew away happily.
Rina felt very happy that she could help the little bird.

Ans : I am Swapan. I am a boy. My full name is Swapan Bose. I love my name. People lovingly call me Babi. My house is near Nicco Park. My father is a doctor. My mother is a teacher. She teaches Mathematics and sometimes helps me with my homework. We go to school together. We are in the same school. I am fond of comics. I am fond of games. I take interest in reading.
I love my parents. They are fond of me. But they are also very strict. They do not allow us to watch too much television. I have a sister. She is younger to me. She goes to a different school. Being the baby of the family, she is everyone’s favourite. Although we fight sometimes, like any brother and sister, we get along very well.
