Ans. When a river carries on, it becomes smaller and smaller till at last it becomes a grain of sand.
(d) What does the author mean by “The Great Book of Nature?”
Ans. In the great book of nature the author talks about different elements of nature like mountains, rocks, deserts, seas, stars where from we can learn a lot about the time when there was no life on earth.
