Date: 12 February 2026

Subject: Complaint Regarding Reckless Driving of Public Vehicles

Sir/Madam,

Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities to the serious problems faced by daily commuters due to reckless driving of public vehicles.

Drivers of buses, autos and other public transport vehicles often overspeed, disobey traffic rules and overload their vehicles. They frequently compete with one another to pick up passengers, which leads to dangerous accidents. Many innocent pedestrians and passengers have been injured due to such negligence.

Students, office-goers and elderly people feel unsafe while travelling. Strict action should be taken against traffic rule violators. Regular checking, heavy fines and cancellation of licences may help to control this problem.

I hope the concerned authorities will take immediate steps to ensure safe travel for all.

Thanking you,
Yours faithfully,

Ans.

12 February 2026
Kolkata.

Dear Riya,

I hope you are well. Today I want to share with you an inspiring incident about a brave girl from a nearby village who succeeded in avoiding her untimely marriage in order to continue her studies.

The girl, who had just completed her secondary examination, came to know that her parents had arranged her marriage without her consent. She was deeply shocked but remained courageous. She explained to her parents that she wanted to complete her higher studies and build her career before thinking about marriage.

When her parents did not agree, she sought help from her school teachers and the local administration. With their support, the authorities intervened and stopped the child marriage. The administration also assured her that they would provide all necessary help for her education.

Now she has resumed her studies with great determination. Her brave step has become an example for other girls in the village. I truly feel proud of her courage and confidence.

Please write back soon.

Yours lovingly,
[Your Name]
